1. Learning Progress

In the Learning Progress page, you can see how much video time you have viewed, how many videos you have completed, and some other useful stats.

Your instructor can also see this data on your progress.

2. FAQ

What does it mean to complete a video? What exactly is Time Viewed? These are not just important philosophical questions, they have a real practical application, and we've got some real answers for you here.

Short Delay

First thing to note is that there is a short delay oif up to a minute between your actions, and the results showing up in Learning Progress tab. So if you're wondering why it's not showing the hard work you've just done, give it some time.

When is a Video Completed?

A video is completed when we determine that you have watched 80% of it. That doesn't mean a viewer can fast forward through the video to the 80% mark and it will be done. We have a complex algorithm that determines when it believes you have completed 80% of the video. We can't divulge any more than that, let's just say, you've got to legitimately watch the video in order for it to count.

How Do You Calculate Time Watched?

Time in the real world and time in the video world are surprisingly different concepts. This is because you can speed up video time, but not real time. Time Watched measures the duration of video content that you've watched, adjusted for playback speed and including rewatches.

For example, watching 30 seconds of video at 2x speed counts as 60 seconds, and rewatching sections adds to the total time.

The Time Watched Does Not Match What I Expect. Why?
