We understand that some students face financial challenges that make it hard to pay for course materials. Each Blended Teaching course comes with 2 complimentary access codes that you can give to students who need free access. You generate them on your course's Settings page.

1. How complimentary access codes work
Each course has 2 codes. Once both have been generated, no more can be generated for that course.
Each code can be used once.
Each code expires 6 months after you generate it.
A student enters the code at sign-up to get free access to your course materials without paying.
It is entirely your choice who receives the codes, or whether you use them at all. That decision is yours; we are not involved.
2. Generate a code
Open the Control Center for your course.
Select Settings at the bottom of the sidebar.
Scroll down to Complimentary Access.
Click Generate Access Code.
Click Generate to confirm.
Copy the code and share it with your student.
Once the code is redeemed, you see the student's email address next to it. The Complimentary Access section appears only in courses, not in course templates.
3. FAQ
Do unused codes carry over to future semesters, or other textbooks?
No, unused codes do not carry over. Each code belongs to the course you generated it in and expires 6 months after you generate it.
