Search helps you quickly find content anywhere in your textbook, no matter which chapter you’re currently viewing.
Search may or may not be available in your textbook, depending on how your instructor has configured it.
This guide explains what search includes and how to navigate after opening search results.
What Search Includes
Search allows you to find any published content in the textbook, regardless of which chapter you start from.
Search results may include content from other chapters. Selecting a result will open that content in your current window, even if that content is not currently published in your LMS.
Search includes:
Chapters
Assignments
Pages
Video segments
Search does not include assessment content. Quiz and exam questions are not searchable.
Think of it like a searchable glossary or index.
Navigating After Using Search
To get back to the original chapter you opened, you can:
1. Use your browser’s Back button to return to where you were.
2. Or, navigate back to the chapter through the link in your LMS.
