Blended AI is your first stop for help inside the Control Center. It's available 24/7 to answer questions from our Help Center, walk you through how things work, and even carry out tasks in your course.
1. Meet Blended AI
You'll find Blended AI in two places in the Control Center:
The Blended AI tab pinned to the right edge of the screen — click it any time to open the assistant.
The Help menu in the sidebar — choose Ask Blended AI.
Blended AI knows which course you're viewing, so you can ask about your specific quizzes, students, and settings. It's in Beta and improving quickly — it's experimental and can make mistakes, so always double-check anything important.
2. What you can do with Blended AI
Blended AI is connected to your course — it can see your content and your live class data — so it does much more than answer questions. Here are some of the things instructors ask it for.
2.1. Get answers, fast
Ask how to do almost anything in the platform and Blended AI answers from our growing Help Center, often with a short walkthrough video. For example:
"How do I remove a student from my class?"
"How do I reset a quiz attempt?"
"Where can I see student progress?"
2.2. Make sense of your class data
Because it can read your live class data, you can ask real questions about how your students are doing — and get instant tables, charts, and exports.
"Which quiz questions did my students struggle with most?"
"Show me a chart of average scores by chapter."
"Export last week's quiz results to Excel."
2.3. Prepare to teach
Blended AI can build teaching materials from your course content in seconds:
Concept-check questions to review a chapter — "Write 5 multiple-choice questions on Chapter 4."
In-class activities, complete with step-by-step facilitator notes.
Fresh, real-world examples that make a topic click — "Find a recent news example for supply and demand."
Slides for an upcoming lecture.
2.4. Build and manage your course
It can also take action for you — building quizzes and pulling from question banks, adjusting quiz settings, setting up student accommodations, publishing content, and updating course settings. For anything that changes your course, Blended AI shows you exactly what it's about to do and waits for your OK first.
You can even upload a syllabus, an old slide deck, or a PDF and ask Blended AI to compare it against your Blended course — it will point out gaps in either direction.
Not sure what to ask? Just ask Blended AI what it can do. We're adding new skills all the time, so it always has the most up-to-date answer. Because it's connected to your content and your class data, instructors keep finding uses we never planned for — if you can describe it, give it a try. And if it can't do something yet, that tells us what to build next.
3. Talk to a real person, any time
Blended AI resolves most questions on its own — but you're never stuck with a bot. Whenever you'd rather talk to our team, there are two easy ways to reach us:
Let Blended AI connect you. If it can't fully answer something, it will offer an Open Chat button. Click it and your conversation is handed straight to a real member of our team — along with the full context of what you were working on, so you never have to repeat yourself.
Reach out yourself. Open the Help menu in the sidebar and choose Support at any time to message us directly.
Either way you'll reach a real person on our team. We have near-immediate availability over Zoom, and we're happy to help by email or chat too — whatever works best for you.
