If you don't know where the Blended Teaching materials are in Canvas or Blackboard, instructors sometimes include a prompt in their Canvas or Blackboard pages to encourage you to sign up there. It usually looks something like this:

2. The Signup Process

2.1. Creating an Account

Once you have started the signup process by clicking on any of the Blended Teaching materials in your course, you may be asked to create an account. To do this, just provide the requested details (email, name, create password).

In some instances, you won't be asked for these details, as these details may be transferred to us by your university. In this case, your account is opened for you by your university system.

2.2. Payment

After your account has been opened, you will be asked to pay for access to the textbook materials through your university learning management system.

You can pay using most forms of credit / debit card, or you can use an access code that you purchased from a bookstore or inclusive access program.

2.3. Enrolling In the Class Materials

Once you have paid directly or with an access code, you will be asked to enroll in the class materials. To do this, you must agree to share significant portions of your data relating to your interactions with Blended Teaching, with your instructor and university. This is so that they can track your progress, understand your performance, etc. You cannot enroll unless you agree to share this data with your university and instructor.

3. What You Get

With your purchase, you will get access to the materials designed and selected by your instructor, through the university learning management system for up to 6 months.

This can include videos, textbook chapters, assignments, practice quizzes, quizzes, exams, etc.

You can only access these materials through your course in the university learning management system, so if the university prevents you accessing the course in the university learning management system you will not be able to access the Blended Teaching materials.

To access the materials, once you have created your account and paid for access either directly, or with an access code, just click on the materials in your university learning management system and it will open the content directly in the course if it is integrated...

... or it will open the content in a separate window if the course is unintegrated.

4. FAQ

4.1. Is there a free trial?

We don't offer free trials, but we don't want you to have to pay if you drop the class within 30 days of the start date of the class.

4.2. What is the refund policy?

If you need a refund, no problem, we've got you. Just let us know within 30 days of the start date of the class, and we will provide you a full refund, no questions asked.

Note that the 30 days refund window starts on the start date of the class, and not the date when you purchase access.

We won't provide a refund if it is after 30 days from the official start of the class.

To get a refund, all you need to do is fill in this form:

Once you've requested the refund, we will action it within 24 hours. Due to payment processors in the US, it can take some time for money to move (unfortunately, it's out of our hands), but it will arrive back with you within 4-10 days.

4.3. Where is my access code for Blended Teaching?

When you choose to purchase a Blended Teaching access code through a bookstore or inclusive access provider, they will give you with the code. If they haven't give you one, but were meant to, you'd need to talk with them. We can't help with that part unfortunately.

Once you have the access code, you can use it when you are signing up to Blended Teaching. There are easy-to-follow instructions on where to use the code as you go through the check-out process upon singing up for Blended Teaching at the start of your class.

4.4. How can I cancel my subscription?

Blended Teaching's products are one off purchases, typically for 6-month licences. This means that you do not need to unsubscribe from our service, and we won't bill you on a recurring basis.
